Keimon
Chicago BASED Actor, Writer, DIRECTOR, and innovator.
Keimon Shook is a Queer Blasian Actor, Writer, and Director from Jacksonville Florida. In 2021 He graduated from The Theatre School at DePaul University with his BFA in Acting. His most recent directing credits include his Short Film Debut “From Your Former Lover“ as well as a staged reading of “The Bottoming Process" by Nicholas Pilapil. He then directed a short play Up & Out by Pen Wilder as part of a 24 hour play Festival.
Next up Keimon is set to co-direct and star in a pilot he wrote that focuses on a new type of queer family dynamic. Although Keimon is new to directing his passion for telling queer stories and shining lights on underrepresented communities has always been at the forefront of his artistry. In Directing more projects he hopes to create a space in the industry for more Queer BIPOC led Films and TV shows. Coming from a big family he also hopes to create more stories that shine a unique light and perspective on multiracial families and communities.
